INNOVATION CLASS

PAM LEWIS is a well-known National Demonstrator for NAFAS on all aspects of flower arranging and design with Plant Material. She is an enthusiastic Competitor at both Area and National Level with many successful awards for her exhibits. in September 2009 she gained the BEST IN SHOW AWARD at the South West Gardening Show in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

Since 1979 Pam, together with her husband Peter, have developed, extended and planted their garden, Wellaway in Marston, near DEVIZES in Wiltshire to provide all-the-year-round interest. The two--acre garden is made up of herbaceous borders, orchard, vegetable garden, ornamental and wildlife ponds, lawns and naturalised areas. The shrubberies and rose garden are particularly effective and colourful in Spring, with underplanted daffodils, tulips and hellebores. It is open, with all proceeds going to garden related charities in 2010 on Sunday 26 April and Sunday 13 September from 2pm to 6pm. Home-made refreshments will include, teas, coffees with biscuits and cakes, light lunches and snacks.

WELLAWAY can be visited at any time of the year, by appointment, and makes a perfect outing for many clubs, groups and organisations. These days can be tailored to suit all visitors, and you may want to have a home made meal or a flower demonstration included. Please visit the GARDEN VISITS page for further information or .e-mail us

Demonstrations take place in the purpose built studio with a raised dais which makes viewing the compoleted exhibits east for all. this studio is also the ideal venue for day schools on the art and craft associated with plants, flowers, gardening and decoration.
